Henry exhibited the Globe, his earliest project, during a private view in his Camberwell Studio. The Globe is the result of a three years long experimentation into reflection and light.

 

Globe echoes a city or a landscape, whose appearance it's transformed by the light at night. 

 

Its double nature of reflective object when unlit, and infinite geometrical reality when lit, generates an hypnotic feeling in the viewer. Who recognises the object as something familiar: a planet, a cell or an atom, and yet is fascinated by it.

 

 

The globe was machined entirely by hand with the use of laser cut templates and hand held router, long before the studio was equipped with a CNC machine.
